Profile
The Department of Accounting and Finance was created by the merger of two Departments, 1. Accounting and 2. Finance & Auditing, of the former T.E.I. of Epirus. Minimum duration of study: eight (8) academic semesters.
Mission and goals
The purpose of the Department is to promote knowledge and research in the subjects of Accounting and Financial Science. The renewed programme of studies of the Department is adapted to the Greek reality and provides knowledge and skills in matters related to the organization and operation of Accounting and Financial services of companies and organizations in the private and public sector, with the aim of meeting the needs of the labor market in the sector of Accounting and Finance. Graduates secure the professional rights of Accountants -Tax Practitioners and Financial Advisors, as well the right to teach in secondary education.
