Profile
The Department of Nursing was established in 1984 as an satellite department of the TEI of Messolongi based in Ioannina. In 1994 it joined the TEI of Epirus. In 2018, it joined the University of Ioannina under the auspices of the School of Health Sciences. Minimum duration of study: eight (8) academic semesters.
Mission and goals
The vision of the Department of Nursing is the establishment and maintenance of an important status in the international academic community while aiming at extroversion and excellence at the educational, clinical and research levels. The objectives of the undergraduate curriculum include: • Providing a high level of nursing education through student-centered teaching and learning • The use and integration of technology in teaching • The production of research and publication of research data • The internationalization of the Department • The connection of the Department with society and the labor market
