School
General Information
The School of Health Sciences was established at the University of Ioannina in June 2013, within the framework of Law 4009/2011 and in implementation of the plan "ATHENA" for the restructuring of the Institutions of Higher Education, as described in article 4 of the Presidential Decree 105/2013.
The School of Health Sciences aims to advance health education and research, improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment, care and rehabilitation of patients. It also aims to promote education and research in the biology, physiology, immunology and genetics of living beings.
